To create the screenshots, I used a nifty program called fbdump. It is a small download (128k) and compiles on my dual-Celeron 466MHz beast in but a few (30?) seconds. It has no dependencies (other than the standard C library). It is a fantastic program for capturing framebuffer screenshots. It creates the images in .ppm (easily converted to .png or .jpg or .whatever in the Gimp) format.
