So….I have not published an article in over a year. Heh. Many things have happened during this time away from blogging. Here is a quick rundown, with no explanation:

  1. I was promoted at work.
  2. I sold my house (after trying for two – yes, two – years).
  3. I bought a new house in the neighborhood in which we are planting a church.
  4. We hosted an exchange student from South Korea.
  5. I attended the Acts 29 Network Boot Camp (church planting) in Troy, NY.
  6. I was asked to participate in my church’s Leadership Development Forum.
  7. We attended the Desiring God National Conference.
  8. Our exchange student left our home for another so he could attend a different school.
  9. We attended the Gospel Coalition conference and met John Piper. Wow.
  10. I was fired over politics my first day back from the conference.
  11. We met John Piper!
  12. I was asked to participate in my church’s Leadership Development Forum 2.
  13. The Boston Celtics traded away a lot of talent but managed to bring in some excellent players.
  14. Did I mention we met John Piper?
  15. My three children grew something like five feet collectively. (They have difficulty walking now… :-)
  16. We sat behind John Piper and were able to meet him. We shook his hand.
  17. I started blogging again.
